Muwaffak is a career international banker, having developed and deployed most of his experience at Citibank. He worked across various banking disciplines, ranging from corporate and consumer banking, to real estate, credit and wealth management. He worked across three continents, in the Middle East, North America and Europe, residing in Switzerland since 1999. In addition to Citibank Muwaffak served as the head of the Ultra High Net Worth segment for Credit Suisse in the Middle East, as well as Head of International for First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB).
Currently, Muwaffak serves as a Board Director for some of FAB international branches and subsidiaries. He also acts as an independent advisor to families and family offices. He is active with many charities focused on education, human rights and social empowerment.
Muwaffak enjoys cooking, reading and variety of sports: biking, hiking, and snowshoeing.
