Robin is President & Head of Business Development at 33 Capital Management LLC and oversees all aspects of the firm’s partnerships, client activities, IR & marketing. Robin’s leadership, 28 years of experience, extensive network within the investment industry and expertise in driving growth is invaluable for 33. Robin, along with CFO Matt Roche, leads our efforts in running the non-investment side of the firm.
Background
Prior to joining the Firm, he served as a Partner and Head of the US Business at Boussard & Gavaudan, a multi-strategy hedge fund with a peak AUM of $5.5+ billion. Robin established the US office, hired investments teams, raised assets and oversaw the North American business.
Previously, he was a Co-Founder, Partner, and COO of MPA Asia, a long-short hedge fund seeded by Tiger Management, and Global Head of Equities at Man Group’s multi-manager business. Robin began his career in institutional research sales at Lehman Brothers.
Education
Robin is a CAIA charter holder and graduated with BSc Honors from the University of Bristol, UK.
